LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS / University Heights City Council meeting highlights

AUGUST 27, 2024, special meeting

Present were Mayor Michael Dylan Brennan and council members Michele Weiss (vice mayor), Brian J. King, Threse Marshall, John P. Rach, Sheri Sax, and Win Weizer. Christopher Cooney was excused. Also present were Clerk of Council Kelly Thomas, Law Director Bradric T. Bryan, Finance Director Dennis Kennedy, and City Engineer Brenda Mockbee. The meeting ran for 50 minutes.

Council actions

Council and the mayor entered an executive session from 7:04 to 7:53 p.m., along with the administrative directors present and members of the CIC (community investment corporation), which includes Bradric Bryan, Brenda Mockbee, Dennis Kennedy, Susan Drucker, Robert Perko, and Micah Maliskas. After the executive session, council tabled the remaining items on the meeting agenda. Mayor Brennan clarified that this had been at the request of the administration. 

Regular council meetings will resume Sept. 3.
