LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS / University Heights City Council meeting highlights

JULY 10, 2024, special meeting

Present were Mayor Michael Dylan Brennan and council members Michele Weiss (vice mayor), Brian J. King, Threse Marshall, John P. Rach, Sheri Sax, and Win Weizer. Christopher Cooney was excused. Also present were Clerk of Council Kelly Thomas and Law Director Bradric T. Bryan. The meeting ran for one hour.

Council actions

Council approved the purchase of recycling carts from Otto Environmental Systems in the amount of $102,891.80.

Council went into executive session for a portion of the meeting to discuss real estate matters and pending litigation.

Council amended an ordinance to establish tax increment financing (TIF) for the development of University Square so that the phrasing of the language matches the agreement and adding a definition of the term “trustee.”
