Heights Swim Cadets to hold annual synchronized swim show

The Swim Cadets, as seen in their 2009 show, will perform March 4-6 at the Heights High pool.

The Cleveland Heights High School Swim Cadets presents this year’s show, “Swim Cadets Save The Day,” Thursday through Saturday, March 4-6 at 7:30 p.m. in the school’s pool at 13263 Cedar Rd. Tickets are $6.

The Swim Cadets club has been in existence at Heights High for over 60 years and is the Cleveland area’s oldest synchronized swimming club. Many are second or third generations team members. The students are responsible for selecting members, raising operating funds, developing routines and putting on a show that is unequaled in Northeast Ohio. The 21-member club is an example of excellence at Heights High--and it's a fun, warm way to spend a cold winter evening.

Sue Datta's daughter Priya Datta is a senior at Heights High and is the Swim Cadets' copresident.
