Become an Observer!

The Heights Observer is looking for people, ages 1-100, to get involved in the paper. After all, the Heights Observer is all about citizen journalism and its power to tell local stories at a grassroots level. We are looking for volunteer writers, photographers, designers, and illustrators. It doesn't matter if you are a professional or amateur, our editorial staff will be glad to have you.

Want to be a reporter? The first place to go is the Member Center. This is where all the magic happens. From this page you can submit stories about anything Cleveland Heights- or University Heights-related that you desire. Just sign up and start sending us your stories. All will appear on the website and many will be chosen for the print edition.

Know how to edit? If you are interested in helping with the editorial process, please email publisher@heightsobserver.org.

News Releases-- If you have information about an event, organization, or program or have news about anything that has to do with Cleveland Heights or University Heights, send it to: city.editor@heightsobserver.org.

Calendar of Events Our calendar of events is fast becoming the go-to place in the Heights for up-to-date info on places to go and fun things to do! To appear on our calendar of events, submit items online here. (Please note: only non-commercial events will be posted and events must either take place in the Heights or be sponsored by a Heights organization).

Newsies/Delivery People-- The Heights Observer is looking for people who would like to help deliver the newspaper. It's a lot of fun and you meet some great folks! One-time or every time, if you have a couple of hours available during business hours, this job is for you. If interested, email: delivery@heightsobserver.org.

Are you a local business? Reach your target audience and support this community building effort through advertising in the print edition. The first edition of 10,000 reached all corners of the community. Check out our ad rates then submit your ad today!
