War Games: Tactical Media Exhibition Opening

Curated by CWRU Art Studio Faculty Kerry Richardson + Steve Ciampaglia. The War Games: Tactical Media exhibition surveys the longstanding and tangled relationship between videogames and the US military. Explore this history through an extensive media archive and play military-themed videogames including the latest entry in the blockbuster Call of Duty franchise and Discharged, an artist-made game that critiques the US militaryís use of videogames to recruit teens. Exhibition is intended for mature audiences; viewer discretion is advised.

Sears think[box] Gallery, Richey Mixon Building, 1st Foor, 1201 Ceedar Avenue.

Parking: Sears think[box] has very limited public parking available in the lot adjacent to the building (two accessible-only and two 15-minute-only spaces for drop off/pickup; pay online or with the Parkmobile app). Visitors without a disability license or placard should use the public paid parking lot at Veale Parking Garage (Lot 53). Enter lot at 2158 Adelbert Rd. then walk to the entrance of the Veale Athletic Center. Ask at the front desk for assistance in reaching think[box].

Heights High Mid-Winter Concert 2
