Virtual CASA Informational Session

A Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) is a trained community volunteer appointed by the Juvenile Court to represent the best interests of a child who has been abused or neglected. Join us to learn what it means to be a CASA volunteer in our community.
The virtual CASA Informational Session will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023, from 5:00 - 6:00 pm.

Birds & Insects are Listening
6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Free Program Presented by Dr. Lisa Rainsong.
We listen to birds, but more importantly, they are listening closely to each other and even to mammals. Sound and the ability to listen for important information is essential. Even our backyard crickets and katydids – Earth’s first musicians – are listening.
You may be surprised by all the information that’s being communicated from ground level to the tops of the trees!
Come join us for a fascinating presentation and learn how you can invite a chorus into your back yard.
