Opening night concert - ChamberFest Cleveland Season 11: "Lightness of Being"
Welcome to Season 11 of ChamberFest Cleveland! A gilded chamber hall lined with richly ornamented sylvan scenes provides the perfect ambiance for this exuberant and soulful season opening. Music from Purcell’s enchanting “semi-opera” is filled with rustic dances and dreamy sensuality, followed by a melodious trio that artfully balances freshness and depth. Dvořák’s masterful piano quartet lends a near-symphonic power and romantic sweep to this truly glorious program.
