21st Annual Walk, Rock, Roll and Run

The Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio invites you to join us for our 21st Annual Walk, Rock, Roll and Run on Saturday, May 6, 2023. This in-person event will be held at the Great Lakes Science Center (601 Erieside Ave., Cleveland, OH 44114).

Donations are encouraged and appreciated. Start a fundraising team today and raise funds that allow us to Teach Acceptance and Build Community in our region!


Walkers: It is free to walk. When you raise $500 or more on your personal fundraising page, you become a Diversity Champion! This means you will be entered into our Walk, Rock, Roll and Run raffle, one entry for every $500 you raise.

Runners: $38.00 through May 1st. Late registration—$43.00 from May 2nd to May 7th. T-shirts are included for all runners. The race will be chip-timed and awards will be given out.

Funds raised from this event help to empower more than 16,000 youth, educators, and youth-serving professionals through our justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion programming. Each year, our combined programs touch more than 16,000 people in 11 counties throughout Northeast Ohio!

The Diversity Center is a leading advocate for justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion in Northeast Ohio. When you support our work, you are helping a new generation of students and future leaders embrace their differences and become change agents for inclusion and diversity in our region.

Paper Arts Open House & Community Day
11:00 AM - 4:00 PM
You are invited to a FREE day of community, creation & exploration to celebrate the Morgan Papermaking Conservatory's 15th anniversary!

Join us for fun art activities such as a papermaking demo, bookbinding, paper marbling, letterpress print, and a community pulp painting pour in the Morgan's kozo garden at 1 PM.

All ages are welcome! Light refreshments and drinks will be provided.

Lake Erie Ink's Teen Writers' Symposium
11:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Join Lake Erie Ink to meet and learn from local writers! This year’s event will feature a meet and greet with the writers, a panel, and workshops led by the writers. Lunch will be provided.

Featuring guest rriters Annie Zaleski, Quartez Harris, Helen Maynard, Phil Metres, Marie Vibbert, DM Pulley, and more!

Presented in partnership with the CSU Department of English.

Mother's Day Market at Tower City Center

Mobius 2023 Fundraiser Celebrating 50 Years of Hip Hop

Proceeds benefit Mobius, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Mobius creates opportunities for Cleveland Heights–University Heights City School District K-8 students to engage in creative and critical thinking that extends and enriches curriculum. Mobius was formerly known as RoxArts and REAP.

Our new name comes from the Mobius strip, which is a continuous, single-sided surface with no boundaries. It’s our hope we eliminate boundaries and inspire possibilities through arts + science enrichment for all CH-UH K-8 students.
