Lovelines: Stories of Family & Community

Join us as we explore stories of family and community with the Cleveland Association of Black Storytellers! Participants will hear stories, see a storytelling performance, and learn new ways to tell their own stories! This program will be held at the Dunham Tavern Museum, located at 6079 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, Ohio, 4103. Participants are invited to attend along with family and/or loved ones!

Andrea González Caballero in Concert

Cleveland Classical Guitar Society is pleased to present the Cleveland debut of Spanish guitarist Andrea González Caballero!
BBC Music Magazine described her as one of today’s young rising stars of the classical guitar, appearing at international festivals and concert series around the world. Recent highlights include performances at Palau de la Música in Barcelona, National Auditorium and Juan March Foundation in Madrid, as well as performances with both the Sinfonietta Ratingen and Neue Philharmonie Westfalen in Germany. Selected by the International Guitar Foundation of London to perform as a soloist in the international London Guitar Festival, she debuted in the United Kingdom offering concerts at venues such as King’s Cross in London and Sage Gateshead in Newcastle.
Andrea recently received a Graduate Performance Diploma from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University, where she was awarded the James Winship Lewis Memorial Prize. She is dedicated to promoting and expanding the classical guitar repertoire, and has premiered pieces composed by Sergio Assad, Joaquín Clerch, Carlos Fernando López and Dustin Carlson among others. For this Cleveland Classical Guitar Society debut, she will perform a program centered on works by composers of her native Spain. Join us to welcome this exciting and talented young artist to Cleveland!
