Heights High to host annual Northeast Suburban College Fair on March 19

Heights students speak with college representatives at the 2014 college fair.

Cleveland Heights High School will host the 21st Annual Cleveland Northeast Suburban College Fair on Thursday, March 19, 7–8:30 p.m., in the Heights High Cafeteria and Social Room.

The fair is open to all local public, private and parochial students and their families, and admission is free. Students will have the opportunity to meet admissions officers, guidance staff, and alumni representatives from more than 100 colleges, universities and technical schools, to learn about student life on campus, programs and majors, careers, admissions and financial aid.

“The college fair gives students a chance to begin the very important task of planning their futures,” said Michelle Phelps, career education coordinator at Heights High. “The college fair is an important planning tool and the perfect opportunity for students and parents to talk one-on-one with college representatives at one location. Students are given a list of suggested questions to ask representatives to help jump start the conversation and information gathering.”

Heights High is located at 13263 Cedar Road. Additional parking will be available in the municipal lot next to Wendy’s, off Cedar Road, across from Heights High.

For additional information, contact Michelle Phelps at 216-371-7149, or visit www.chuh.org/CareerDevelopment.aspx.

The 2015 Cleveland Northeast Suburban College Fair is sponsored by the Tri-Heights Career Development Program of the Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District and its consortium schools.
