Nonprofit FracTracker Alliance plans May 22 fundraiser in Cleveland Heights

FracTracker Alliance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to tracking, and enhancing public understanding of, the impacts of the global shale gas industry, will host a fundraiser in Cleveland Heights on May 22.

The event will take place at the Wine Spot, 2271 Lee Road, 6:30–9:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person and include a wine and cheese tasting, a silent auction and a door prize. FracTracker board members and staff will be on hand, and there will also be a special exhibit of maps and art, to enlighten and inform guests. Space is limited. Sponsors of the event include the Cleveland Orchestra, Appletree Books, Loganberry Books, Visible Voice Books and the Paul Duda Gallery.

FracTracker has offices in Cleveland Heights, Pittsburgh, Harrisburg (Pa.), Ithaca (N.Y.), Oakland (Calif.) and Wheeling (W.Va.). The Cleveland Heights event is one of three taking place in various cities, as FracTracker Alliance approaches its two-year anniversary.
