CH-UH schools debut new facilities plan logo

As Phase 1 of the School Facilities Plan gets underway, the Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District has debuted a new slogan and logo that will let residents quickly recognize news and content about the renovation revitalization project.

“The Create the Future slogan and logo were designed to communicate the different aspects of planning, designing, building and completing our new district facilities,” said Angee Shaker, CH-UH district director of communications. “We are creating a new future for our district when we renovate and revitalize the spaces in which our students learn.”

The image of a school clock tower sitting atop a black and gold paintbrush was chosen to reflect the historic core of Cleveland Heights High School that will be preserved. The paintbrush symbolizes the action of creating, and the paintbrush handle is open for the hands of all staff, students and community members.

The Create the Future logo will be used online and in print, for updates and news about the facilities project.
