Cleveland Heights cancels refuse pickup for Tuesday, Jan. 7; warming station open at community center
Citing a forecast of "dangerously low temperatures and wind chills," the City of Cleveland Heights announced that it has canceled its refuse and recycling collection for Tuesday, Jan. 7, due to the extremely cold weather.
The city reminds those in need of a place to stay warm that the Cleveland Heights Community Center, 1 Monticello Blvd., will be open until 9 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 6 and all day Tuesday, Jan. 7.
As for a holiday schedule change, refuse and recycling pickup will be delayed by one day, for the rest of the week.
