UH City Council meeting is rescheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 17

University Heights City Council has rescheduled its next meeting from Monday, Dec. 16 to Tuesday, Dec. 17.

"It would normally occur on Monday," said University Heights Mayor Susan Infeld, "but I asked City Council to change the day of the meeting so that we could all attend the school district's meeting about closing Wiley and redistributing the students to Roxboro and Monticello. That meeting is Monday at 7 p.m. at Heights High."

The UH City Council meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m.

At 7 p.m., there will be a pre-meeting reception in council chambers to honor UH's Citizen of the Year, Robert Walton, and Public Servant of the Year, Vice Mayor Frankie Goldberg.

UH City Council meetings are usually held twice a month, on Monday evenings.
