Dobama Theatre has a rich 53-year history of premiering the best contemporary plays, by established and emerging playwrights, in professional productions of the highest quality. Through educational and outreach programming like Dobama Emerging Actor’s Program (DEAP) and Marilyn Bianchi Kids’ Playwriting Festival, Dobama Theatre nurtures the development of theater artists, and builds new audiences for the arts, while provoking an examination of our contemporary world. Many Dobama alumni have gone on to inspire and contribute to the artistic landscape throughout the U.S. and even the world.
Heather Wescott is a member of the board of directors for the Dobama Theatre.
