UH City Council meeting agenda for Sept. 16

The University Heights City Council has posted the agenda for its Sept. 16 meeting. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. at University Heights City Hall.

The agenda includes an ordinance authorizing the transfer of funds from the general fund to other funds. It also includes a second reading of a resolution accepting "the amounts and rates as determined by the Cuyahoga County Budget Commission and authorize the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Officer," and a resolution on "keeping Asian carp out of the Great Lakes.

Reports from standing committees include consideration of consolidation of fire services between University Heights and Shaker Heights, and the use of a Silsby Road house (Committee of the Whole); a rubbish study and a review of the long-term curb/street resurfacing program (Service and Utilities Committee); and regionalism and schools (Governmental Affairs).

Following the regular meeting, council will hold an executive session "for the purpose of discussing personnel, litigation or real estate matters."
