CH City Council meeting agenda for Aug. 5

The Cleveland Heights City Council has posted the agenda for its Aug. 5 meeting. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Cleveland Heights City Hall.

The finance committee report includes consideration of several ordinances related to implementing a public services plan for the Cedar Fairmount Special Improvement District (SID), and advancing funds in anticipation of levying an assessment for the plan.

The finance committee report also presents several resolutions related to appointing an Assessment Equalization Board to hear objections relative to the estimated assessments for the Cedar Lee SID public services plan; appointing an Assessment Equalization Board to hear objections relative to the estimated assessments for a portion of the expense of street lighting; and appointing an Assessment Equalization Board to hear objections relative to estimated assessments for a portion of the expense of improvement of streets and parkways including grading, draining, curbing, paving . . .  removing snow therefrom, and planting, maintaining and removing shade trees thereon.

Resolutions authorizing the city manager to enter into agreements for engineering, bidding support, and post-bidding services for the Cedar Fairmount and Cedar Lee Streetscape projects will be presented by the planning and development committee.

After adjournment, council members and staff will stay to discuss questions informally with residents.
