Cleveland Heights Democrats reviewing candidates for CH City Council and CH-UH School Board

The Cleveland Heights Democrats Club will vote to endorse Democratic candidates for city council and the school board on Sept. 12 at the Cleveland Heights Community Center.

In order to vote at the endorsement meeting, a member must be in good standing and have paid membership dues by July 29 (45 days prior to the endorsement vote, per the club's bylaws). Annual membership dues for 2013 are $15. Dues may be paid online on the club’s website,

The club’s Candidate Screening Committee is reviewing candidates seeking endorsement for this November’s local elections. Interested candidates should contact Mike Gaynier, club president, at, to arrange a meeting with the committee.

The Cleveland Heights Democrats Club enables Cleveland Heights residents to promote and develop the highest principles of the Democratic Party, to improve the administration of government, and to work for the good of all citizens.
