University Heights City Council meeting Jan. 22 will start with a program to honor MLK
At the beginning of its Jan. 22 meeting, the University Heights City Council will pay tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The tribute will include performances by The Wiley Middle School Challenge Choir and the Heights High Barbershoppers, as well as a video of the Vocal Music group's visit to the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, Tenn., presented by Eric Carder, a Heights vocal music student.
The meeting agenda also includes the swearing in of Fire Lieutenant Robert Perko.
The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m., at University Heights City Hall.
