RTA breaks ground on new Cedar-University Circle station

  • City and RTA officials, and their University Circle partners, break ground on the new station at the bottom of Cedar Hill.

  • Shovels at the ready, officials from the RTA, City of Cleveland, FTA, UCI, CWRU, the Cleveland Foundation, and other partners, prepare to break ground on a new rapid station at the bottom of Cedar Hill.

  • RTA will invest $18.5 million in a new Cedar-University Rapid Station.

  • The current rapid station and bus loop provide a poor experience for riders who must compete with cars, trucks and other traffic as they exit the stations on their way to their final destinations.
