July 4 yoga fundraiser for Heights Emergency Food Center

The Atma Center invites you to help others on Independence Day. Join teachers and students from the Atma Center on Wednesday, July 4, for an all-levels yoga class to benefit the Heights Emergency Food Center. The class will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Cumberland Park (near the Soldier’s Memorial at the north end of the park).

The suggested donation is $10, plus one can or box of food. All proceeds go to the food center.

Heights residents hit hard by the recession count on the Heights Emergency Food Center, located inside Disciples Christian Church in Cleveland Heights. The center provides more than 575 families in Cleveland Heights, University Heights, South Euclid and Lyndhurst with a three-day supply of food once each month.

The event will take place rain or shine. The rain location is at the Atma Center, 2319 Lee Road. For more information about the event, call 216-371-9760, or visit www.atmacenter.com. To learn more about the Heights Emergency Food Center, visit http://discipleschristian.org/content/outreach_ministries/heights_emergency_food_center.
