Cleveland Peace Action presents public dialogue on Iran

Cleveland Peace Action Education Fund will present a public dialogue, titled “Dealing Effectively with Iran without War,” on Monday, June 12, at 7:30 p.m,. at Siegal College of Judaic Studies.

The United States and Israel are fast approaching a choice: war, more sanctions, or more effective negotiations with Iran. Moderated by Brian Amkraut, Siegal College provost, this interactive conversation between Peter Beinart and Jamal Abdi will consider other alternatives that would provide verifiable and sustainable security in the region.

Peter Beinart, associate professor at City University of New York, writes for The Daily Beast. He is the author of The Crisis in Zionism.

Jamal Abdi, policy director of the National Iranian American Council, is a frequent guest contributor on NPR, Huffington Post, and BBC.
