Buy Local/Buy Independent Meet & Greet set for May 31

The Heights Independent Business Alliance (HiBA) will host a meet and greet on Thursday, May 31, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the BottleHouse Brewery, 2050 Lee Road. Owners and administrators of local independent businesses and nonprofit organizations in and around Cleveland, Cleveland Heights, Shaker Heights and University Heights—including retail, home-based and service businesses—are invited to attend.

Network and learn how HiBA can help create initiatives to support local businesses and the local economy. Hear about HiBA’s current initiatives, such as the Memorial Day promotion, National Independents Week, Best of the Heights awards program and the Holiday Buy Local campaign. The BottleHouse Brewery, Mister Brisket, Parnell’s Pub and Perla Pierogies will provide snacks and refreshments. Harry Bacharach and his band will provide entertainment, and several current HiBA members will offer door prizes.
