Richard Weiner, principal percussionist and senior member of the Cleveland Orchestra, reflects on a half-century of performing around the world.
Michelle Shaw, Cuyahoga County and CWRU liaison to the National Children’s Study, will speak about the study, which was mandated by Congress to examine the effects of the environment/genetics on children’s health in the United States.
Karen Gahl-Mills, executive director of Cuyahoga Arts and Culture, discusses the role of the arts in the economic and cultural development of the community.
Donald Rosenberg, arts and entertainment critic for the Plain Dealer, highlights the three operas the Metropolitan Opera will present in movie theaters this spring.
