Heights High Synchronized Swim Club to hold 60th anniversary shows

The Cleveland Heights High School Swim Cadets will present this year’s show, “Swim Cadets Save The Day ,” on March 4, 5 and 6th at 7:30 p.m. in the school’s pool (13263 Cedar Road). Tickets are $6.

The Swim Cadets club has been in existence at Heights High for over 60 years and is the Cleveland area’s oldest synchronized swimming club. Many of the members represent second or third generations of Swim Cadets. The students are responsible for selecting their members, raising funds to operate, developing their own routines, and putting on a show that is unequaled in Northeast Ohio.

This year, the Swim Cadets is comprised of 21 members from all grades and small schools at Heights High. The team selected the music, theme, choreographed and costumed each selection, raised funds for and practiced for more than four months for the show. This organization is another example of the excellence that is part of Cleveland Heights High School. And it's a fun, warm way to spend a cold winter evening.
