Welcome to the Cleveland Heights-University Heights Adult Basic and Literacy Program (ABLE) We have been offering literacy services in the Cleveland area for over 30 years and serve almost 1,000 students a year. We offer FREE classes for adults in the areas of GED preparation, basic skills improvement, and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). The program offers both classroom and distance learning support. We provide licensed teachers, materials, computers, and tutors at a variety of sites. Our classes are offered in the daytime and evening and run throughout the year.

Dobama is a professional theater dedicated to innovative programming, professional performance standards, and the nurturing and development of new audiences, playwrights, and other theater artists. Our mainstage productions - all World, American, Midwest, or Cleveland Premieres - showcase important plays written by the established and emerging playwrights of our day. Dobama's Night Kitchen offers late-night programming specifically oriented to involve young adults, fifteen to "30 somethings" as both audience members and participants. The annual Marilyn Bianchi Kids' Playwriting Festival, now in its 30th year, was the first event of its kind in the country. The nurturing of new playwrights and their work permeates all Dobama programming, and is the catalyst for all that we do. Through our production of "significant" contemporary plays and related educational events, Dobama seeks to create a community dialogue on contemporary issues.

Facing History and Ourselves is an international educational and professional development organization headquartered in Brookline, Massachusetts. For more than 30 years, Facing History has produced classroom resources and effective educational strategies that promote student engagement, critical thinking, and a scholarly approach to the study of history.
