I love my neighbors, my schools, the diversity and the local shopping. I love where I live in the Heights! Wouldn't change it for the world.

What do you like best about your neighborhood?
I like that my neighbors still like Crest Rd. and they don't have to deal with the Post Office NOISE.
-
On The Rise, GG's and Paysage are within throwing distance!
-
I love the diversity, friendly people, local eateries, shopping, groceries, and local theater scene.
-
I like many things about our neighborhood, in the Noble/Monticello area. When asked to pick my absolute favorite, I like the fact that it's a wonderful mix of people, black and white, and we get along well. People greet you on the street, even if they don't know you. If there is a crime, police and neighbors react instantly, sending emails and talking about it, holding community meetings to discuss it, and supporting the victim(s).

Street is Ormond Road - Heights Main Library and Cedar-Lee restaurant row and other shops.
-
John Carroll University. Go Blue Streaks!
-
I like the restoration of Cleveland Heights High School. I hope that families who now send their students to private schools will enroll them in CHHS and achieve demographics of racial integration in all our public schools. We need a program to attract families with school age children, incentives to purchase homes and to reintegrate white children into the school district and demonstrate the diversity of our University and Cleveland Heights neighborhoods.
-
I love the Cedar/Lee area! Being able to walk to so many great bars and restaurants is a huge plus. I used to live in Stow and I had to drive everywhere. Here, it's a quick walk to the grocery store and to so many other great places. Even Coventry is just a 20 minute walk!
-
What I love most the Noble area is that it is diverse and multigenerational. My children see and experience all walks of life. I feel this makes them more culturally diverse and accepting of other cultures.
-
Walkability, proximity to museums and sense of community.
-
I live on Castleton. I love my caring neighbors, the diversity of Cleveland Heights, Heights Libraries and wonderful places to shop--like Zagara's which has the best produce and meat at the best prices anywhere and the nicest staff.
-
In the Cedar-Fairmount neighborhood we can walk to do errands, meet for coffee or meals, hear Jazz, walk to museums, doctors, the orchestra or sit on our patio in a lush garden. Like NYC and a suburb combined. And, of course, it's Cleveland Heights... friendly and sophisticated, artistic and down to earth.
