Hospice of the Western Reserve Volunteer Training Series

Hospice of the Western Reserve has opened-up more in-person volunteer opportunities (with Covid-19 precautions in place). Are you interested in helping people in your community? Consider becoming a Hospice of the Western Reserve Volunteer. We have virtual and in-person opportunities available. Volunteers are also needed for our new End of Life Doula and Pet Peace of Mind programs. Reception desk volunteers are also need at various locations. We are holding one virtual training series in August (Tuesdays and Thursdays, August 17, 19, 24, and 26 from 10 am – 1 pm) and two in September (TBA). Registration for a specific series is contingent on meeting pre-registration requirements which include completing an application, criminal background check, and pre-screening interview. Start the process today by calling 216-255-9090, emailing volunteering@hospicewr.org, or visit our website, Hospicewr.org/volunteer for more information and to fill out an application on-line.
