8th Annual Kids' Comic Con
10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Lake Erie Ink is hosting its 8th Annual Kids’ Comic Con Saturday, February 29th, from 10:00am-3pm. Learn how to make comics from professional comic creators during four hours of workshops on drawing, character design, and more. Costumes are encouraged!

NEW THIS YEAR! TEENS ONLY FROM 5-8PM with a Cosplay fashion show, "Making Change with Comics" panel featuring Terri Libenson, Snack and Sketch session with local comic artists and a 'Zine exchange. $10 for this session.

Doors open at 9:00am. Workshops begin at 10:00AM. Admission is $10 at the door, and scholarships are available. Lunch will be sold on-site or kids may bring their own. Comics, graphic novels and t-shirts will be for sale. Adults are welcome if accompanied by a child; teachers are welcome with a staff ID.

Learn the basics of good design using native plants from a landscape architect. The talk is especially targeted to our local residential yards.

This talk is part of a series of talks on native plants and sustainable gardening leading up to Ohio’s first ever Native Plant Month in April hosted by Friends of Lower Lake and Doan Brook Watershed Partnership.
