MetroHealth is hosting Community Flu Clinics in Cleveland Heights this October.
Getting your flu shot is more important than ever this year as we continue to do our best to contain COVID-19.
Flu shots are available for individuals ages six months and older. Everyone over the age of two is required to wear a mask while getting their flu shot. No appointment is needed and you do not need to be a MetroHealth patient.

No appointment is necessary and you do not have to be a MetroHealth patient to attend. Flu shots are available for ages 6 months and older. Usui Level III Reiki Class (In-Person and Zoom)
10:00 AM - 4:30 PM
(The in-person class size will be limited for social distancing. The Zoom class will be interactive with Q&A throughout, and the attunements are just as powerful!)
Integrate Reiki into your being and into your health at a much deeper level. You will become “attuned” to the final level of Universal healing energy, and will receive an additional sacred symbol to help you channel healing energy from the Highest Source.
We will also discuss meridian line healing, crystal gridding for body ailments, how to release karmic ties, intuitive and shamanic healing methods, and how to incorporate pendulums, crystals and aromatherapy into your treatments. The class is taught in the traditional Usui method.
Prerequisite: Level 2 Reiki training from an accredited Master Teacher at least 6 months prior, with many hours of self-treatment practice. You also want to be able to draw the Level 2 symbols from memory. If your goal is to also treat other people and/or animals, you need many hours of practice with that also.

Make Lake Erie Ink your first stop for Halloween and write a spooky story at this ALL AGES workshop featuring guest writer D.M. Pulley. Before becoming a full-time writer, D.M. Pulley worked as a Professional Engineer, rehabbing historic structures and conducting forensic investigations of building failures. Pulley’s structural survey of a vacant building in Cleveland inspired her debut novel, The Dead Key, the winner of the 2014 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award. The disappearance of a family member formed the basis for her second historical mystery, The Buried Book. Pulley’s third novel, The Unclaimed Victim, delves into the dark history behind Cleveland’s Torso Killer. She lives in northeast Ohio with her husband and two children.
