Bringing Nature Home: Gardening is for the Birds
1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
Gardening is for the Birds
Presented by Friends of Lower Lake co-chair John Barber

Ecological gardening’s basic tenet is that plants, insects and birds that co-evolved are mutually beneficial. Come hear what native species to plant in your NE Ohio yard to feed both migrating and resident birds for all seasons—beyond birdseed.

This talk is part of a series of talks on native plants and sustainable gardening leading up to Ohio’s first ever Native Plant Month in April hosted by Friends of Lower Lake and Doan Brook Watershed Partnership.
