2020 Pre-College

CIA’s Pre-College program is the perfect way to see if a college of art and design is right for you. Spend each day immersed in our state-of-the-art studios while working alongside students who share your passion.
What is Pre-College?
Each summer CIA offers a two or four-week residency to rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors in high school. During Pre-College, creative students will experience life at a college of art and design, create a portfolio, and learn from top professionals, all while earning college credit.
Explore new media, sharpen your skills, build a portfolio, and make plans for next summer now.
This program runs from July 5th to 17th and July 19th to 31st.
Priority Deadline: February 15, 2020

Beijing Guitar Duo in Concert

The Cleveland Classical Guitar Society presents the Beijing Guitar Duo in Concert on February 15, 2020 at 7:30 pm at Plymouth Church UCC of Shaker Heights (2860 Coventry Road, Shaker Heights, OH 44120). The duo will be performing works by Bach, Debussy, Dun, Piazzolla, and Yi.
Comprised of guitarists Meng Su and Yameng Wang, the Beijing Guitar Duo has performed throughout Europe, Asia, and North America. They have toured extensively with their mentor Manuel Barrueco, including recent appearances in Germany, Finland, Spain, Russia, and the USA. They received a Latin Grammy Award nomination for the title track of "Maracaipe", the duo's debut CD.
