LECTURE WITH Q&A + BOOK SIGNING: Jewish-African American Relations in Cleveland’s Urban Neighborhoods
3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Jewish relations with African Americans in mid-twentieth century urban neighborhoods like Glenville and Mount Pleasant (Kinsman) left a lasting legacy, with implications for their enduring but sometimes misunderstood connection. Join author and urban studies professor Todd Michney, to address ethnic trepidation, tolerance, and turnover in such neighborhoods. A book signing follows the talk.

Sponsored by Facing History, Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage, and CWRU – Siegal Lifelong Learning.
