YOU ARE INVITED BY THE AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF UNIVERSITY WOMEN, HEIGHTS-HILLCREST-LYNDHURST, OHIO BRANCH TO HEAR GUEST SPEAKERS

JULIA GASPARE, CASE WESTERN RESERVE STUDENT AND PRESIDENT OF WOMEN IN SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING ROUNDTABLE. SHE AND FELLOW STUDENTS WILL SPEAK ABOUT WHAT THEY DO, THE PROGRAMS THEY OFFER AND THE OUTREACH THEY DO, LOCALLY AND GLOBALLY.

WE WILL ALSO HAVE A STUDENT FROM SHAKER HEIGHTS HIGH SCHOOL SPEAK ABOUT HOW SHE WAS ENCOURAGED BY THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO RESEARCH UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF THE SCIENTIFIC AND ENRICHMENT OPPORTUNITY PROGRAM FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND CWRU SCHOOL OF MEDICINE.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Ceremony

All residents are invited to attend the 21st annual Celebration of the Life and Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 , 7:00pm at the Cleveland Heights Community Center. The event will feature student winners from our MLK art, essay and poetry contests. This year’s topic is “How did Dr. King influence the world?”
