Active Yoga ~'~ Loving Hands Yoga
6:15 PM - 7:15 PM
Active Yoga – This is a moderate-intensity class, perfect for those with previous yoga experience. In this class we gradually increase our heart rate, flow aerobically through various poses, and work on developing strength, flexibility, balance, and stamina. We focus on the yoga principles of alignment, connecting our breath with our movement, and practicing present-moment awareness. The level of challenge is designed around the students’ desires and abilities.

Class Fees
$15 per class / New clients: Your first class is free!
Students pay at the beginning of the session for all but 3 classes in the session, and pay as they go for the remaining classes in the session. This allows for up to 3 missed classes in the session. I am not able to offer make-up classes.

Single drop-in class: $15 (For those who want to try it out before signing up for a session. Please call for space availability before coming to a class)

LECTURE WITH Q&A + BOOK SIGNING: Jerusalem Under Ottoman Rule: A Cleveland Woman’s Eyewitness Account
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Travel back in time to an era of Israel’s history that is often overlooked. During the last years of the Ottoman Empire, Palestine was bursting with tourism, economic growth, and new institutions. Jerusalem in particular — which had always been in the hearts of Jews around the world — was experiencing major growth and change. Join author Debbi Perkul to learn about the fascinating years of 1913–1915 through the eyes of Clevelander Rae Landy, the very first Hadassah nurse. A book signing follows the talk.

Limited seating. Registration strongly recommended.
