41st Annual Heights Heritage Home & Garden Tour
12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
ur FAIR City is the theme of this year’s Heritage Home Tour, presented by Heights Community Congress, to be held Sunday, September 16 from Noon to 6:00 pm. This theme acknowledges the 50th anniversary of the Fair Housing Act of 1968.

This year we are fortunate to be able to feature the extensively and elegantly renovated Harcourt Manor, along with its spectacular grounds -- thanks to the generosity of its new owners. In addition, you will see: a red-brick Colonial, with lovely architectural features in the Ambler Heights district; a traditional red-brick Georgian, with stunning contemporary interior and artistic garden; a quintessential Heights Tudor home, two small and cozy homes in the Noble neighborhood; two homey apartments in the Alcazar, along with the large formal courtyard garden; and a permaculture garden, based in part on the “gardens not lawn” concept. From 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm, refreshments will be provided at the Alcazar.
