A Most Excellent Race benefiting Camp Cheerful
7:30 AM - 11:00 AM
Run, walk, or donate to help raise funds for children and adults with disabilities to enjoy Camp Cheerful in Strongsville. The Race includes 10K and 5K competitively timed runs on a flat, fast, single-loop course through Cleveland Heights and Shaker Heights. Walkers will enjoy a 5K or 1-mile walk through a historic Cleveland Heights neighborhood. The event will include awards for top race finishers, t-shirt, fun family activities and refreshments.
Race day registration and family-friendly activities start at 7:30 a.m.
9:00 a.m. race start
Entry fees: $20 early bird registration (through May 15); $25 standard registration (May 16-June 22); $30 race day registration (June 24 at Beaumont School)

Tour of Cemetery - Lolly the Trolley

Starting at the Garfield Memorial, board Lolly the Trolley and sit back, relax, and ejoy the beautiful landscape and history of Lake View Cemetery. Tour allows time to tour the Garfield Memorial before or after the tour. In addition, a stop is made at the Wade Chapel for a short visit. Reservations required. $20.00 per person. Package includes: trolley tour, bottle of water and the booklet - Down the Garden Path, Landscape and Design of Lake View Cemetery.

Free Concert Series at Lakeview Cemetery - Sammy DeLeon

Lake View Cemetery has partnered with Cleveland's premier jazz venue, Nighttown and Jim Wadsworth Productions, to bring you six of Ohio's most exciting artists to our summer concert series.

Concerts are from 4:00 - 6:00PM and are located on the lawn of the Garfield Monument.
Please feel free to bring a lawn chair, blanket or picnic.
Concerts are FREE to the public.

Band Concert - Sammy Deleon Latin Jazz Sextet

Lake View Cemetery is partnering again with Cleveland's premier jazz venue Nighttown and Jim Wadsworth Productions to bring Sammy Deleon and his Latin Jazz Sextet to the lawn of the Garfield Memorial. Sammy Deleon, a master timbales player has shared his talent far and wide. He has appeared in New York, Chicago, Miami, San Juan and points in between. He is the undisputed leader in Latin music in the Ohio area. Formerly the musical director of Impacto Nuevo, Sammy and his group make it hard for an audience to sit still.
