Peter Knox, Professor of History and Director, Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities,at Case Western Reserve University,with PowerPoint presentation to chronicle the development of the Baker-Nord Center, especially its Cleveland Humanities Festival which explores the challenges and opportunities caused by the movement of people, as in the history of every nation where demographic shifts, e.g., exile, immigration, deportation, migration, have been part of the fabric of civic and cultural life.

Classic Movie Night: The Invisible Man
7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
The Invisible Man is considered a classic horror film. An adaptation of the famous H.G. Wells’ novel of the same name, it was an early example of the magic that could be done on a silver screen. With Johnny Depp developing a reboot of the film, come see the original classic. Part of Heights Libraries' Silver Screen series.
