Women in Horror Reading
7:00 PM
Mac's will sponsor a reading and open mic to celebrate Women In Horror Month, most fittingly on Wednesday, February 14th at 7 p.m. Women in Horror Month (WiHM) is an international, grassroots initiative, which encourages supporters to learn about and showcase the underrepresented work of women in the horror industries. Whether they are on the screen, behind the scenes, or contributing in their other various artistic ways, it is clear that women love, appreciate, and contribute to the horror genre.

Featuered guests will be E.F. Schraeder, author of the poetry chapbook The Hunger Tree and contributor to several anthologies including The Horror Writers Association Poetry Showcase and Mummy Knows Best and Erin Sweet Al-Mehairi, author of Breathe, Breathe, a collection of dark poetry and short fiction.

Open mic participants are encouraged to bring poems that reflect the theme.
