Inspired By Art: A Pecha Kucha Sponsored By Heights Community Congress
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Join HCC and the CH-UH Library in a fun Pecha Kucha to explore ways that art is a lens that allows us to move beyond our first impressions and see the world in a new way. Explore how four local artists approach their art, and learn to turn some of your assumptions upside-down!

Our group of speakers includes:

* Jared Bendis, specialist in photography, game design and virtual reality
* Rachel Bernstein, executive director of Heights Arts
* Laura Potter-Sadowski, executive director of Ten Thousand Villages
* Jonathan Wilhelm, playwright, theatre artist and associate managing director of Dobama

The Pecha Kucha (Japanese for "chatter") applies a simple set of rules to presentations: Display exactly 20 slides for 20 seconds each. That's it. Say what you need to say in six minutes and 40 seconds of words and images and then sit down! It's informative, entertaining, and fun!

Pecha Kucha is FREE and open to the public--and you'll enjoy complimentary refreshments.Reservations are appreciated but walk-ins are always welcome.
