Author Reading - Frances Cannon and Matt Margo

Frances Cannon is a writer and artist of hybrid media. She has an MFA from the Nonfiction Writing Program at the University of Iowa, and a BFA in poetry and printmaking from the University of Vermont. She has a book of poems and illustrations, "Tropicalia," through Vagabond Press, and a book of poems and prints, "Uranian Fruit," through Honeybee Press. Frances also has a graphic memoir, "The Highs and Lows of Shapeshift Ma and Big-Little Frank," forthcoming from Gold Wake Press. She was born in Utah and has since lived in Oregon, Vermont, California, Maine, Iowa, Italy, Guatemala, France, and Mexico making art and writing books. She has also worked as an editorial intern and contributor at McSweeney's Quarterly, The Believer, The Lucky Peach, and The Iowa Review. Her website is http://frankyfrancescannon.com.

Matt Margo is a non-binary person who writes and resides in Cleveland, Ohio. They graduated from Hiram College with a BA in Creative Writing in 2014. Their most recent books include "yr yr" (Ghost City Press, 2017), "Blueberry Lemonade" (Bottlecap Press, 2015), and "When Empurpled: An Elegy" (Pteron Press, 2013). They are Founding Editor of Zoomoozophone Review, Managing Editor of Gold Wake Live, and Publicity Director for Gold Wake Press.
