Bulb & Iris Sale at Rockefeller Greenhouse

Gardeners of Greater Cleveland is holding a Bulb & Iris Sale in the lobby of the Rockefeller Park Greenhouse. Bulbs include tulips (including a deer resistant variety, daffodils, hyacinths, crocus, dutch iris, and many varieties of iris from the Willott Iris Garden. All proceeds benefit the Gardeners of Greater Cleveland scholarship fund for students intending to pursue careers in horticulture.

Building New Worlds Youth Writing Workshop

Lake Erie Ink’s Weekend Ink workshop series kicks off in September with a journey to another world. At this workshop, youth of all ages will learn to perfect the art of creating alternate realities with guest author Charlotte Morgan. Morgan is a veteran journalist and non-fiction writer who has been building worlds in her film scripts, plays, and short science fiction stories. Presently she is completing work on a novel and a play.

Coppers, Mobsters & Robbers - Tour

On this walking tour, Allan May, noted crime historian will teach us about notable law enforcement personalities buried at LVC and the famous crimes they solved. Reservations required. $35.00 per person. Package includes: tour followed by beer and bites at Daffodil Hall.
