Miriam Pendleton and powerpoint presentation about Cuyahoga Valley National Park, an integral member of the vast National Park Service created in 1916 by Congress to oversee national parks, monuments, recreation areas, scenic trails, seashores, historic sites, parkways, reserves, and wild and scenic rivers. It stretches from the Virgin Islands to Guam, from the Arctic Circle to the Florida Keys, from the Headwaters of the Mississippi to the narrow streets of New Orleans.

Active Yoga ~'~ Loving Hands Yoga

Active Yoga – This is a moderate-intensity class, perfect for those with previous yoga experience. In this class we gradually increase our heart rate, flow aerobically through various poses, and work on developing strength, flexibility, balance, and stamina. We focus on the yoga principles of alignment, connecting our breath with our movement, and practicing present-moment awareness. The level of challenge is designed around the students’ desires and abilities.

Professor Amos N. Guiora will discuss issues raised in his recently released book, Complicity: The Role of the Bystander in the Holocaust. Guiora believes society must impose a legal duty to act on bystanders witnessing a crime and criminalize the failure to intervene.

Building a Rain Barrel
