University Heights Senior Happenings Program

India Pierce Lee, M.S., Cleveland Foundation’s program director for Neighborhoods, Housing, and Community Development, collaborates with anchor institutions: Case Western Reserve University, the Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, the City of Cleveland, private banks, and community leaders, to rescue and bolster neighborhoods with high unemployment, dilapidated housing, and waning hope. The Evergreen Cooperative Initiative is working; come and see how.

FutureHeights Neighborhood Mini-Grant Information Session

Have an idea to improve your neighborhood? Need a little start-up funding? The Neighborhood Mini-Grants Program is a component of FutureHeights’ Community Capacity-Building Program that awards small grants of up to $1,000 to fund citizen-led neighborhood projects, events and activities that benefit Cleveland Heights. The application deadline is Thursday, Sept. 15 at 5 p.m.

The Neighborhood Mini-Grants Program is guided by a grant-making committee comprising seven CH residents with a history of community involvement. The committee reviews and approves all grants.
