Outdoor Game Night: Play at Purvis Park

Families, come to Purvis Park to spend the evening playing outdoors. Play Hopscotch, hula hoops, lawn dominoes, Frisbee and more! As we celebrate our 100 Years Of Stories, come play games that have been played in the past 100 years. Part of Heights Libraries' Centennial Celebration.

MORGAN MECASKY – CEDAR FAIRMOUNT CONCERT ON THE GREEN

The Cedar Fairmount Special Improvement District is offering two free concerts on the green west of Nighttown on Thursday, June 16, and Thursday, July 21, from 7–9 p.m. On June 16, Moises Borges and Kenny Davis will perform, and on July 21, Morgan Mecaskey, song writer and singer will perform with her group.

Morgan Mecaskey is an American musician, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist living in Cleveland, Ohio. The former front of acclaimed local indie/folk band Tinamou, Mecaskey made her solo debut in 2012 with the EP, Righteous Kind.

Bring a blanket or lawn chair and prepare to enjoy great music under the stars. Round out your evening with a picnic of food from Cedar Fairmount restaurants. In case of inclement weather, the concerts will be held inside Nighttown.

Home Repair Resource Center Drop-in Repair Clinics

You have home repair questions, we have the answers. Beginning July 12 and running through the end of the month, HRRC will be sponsoring free advice clinics every Tuesday and Thursday. Each session will focus on a different topic and cover basic home and garden how-to issues. Participants are encouraged to bring their questions, pictures and portable broken items. Solar Energy Informational Meeting

YellowLite is proud to announce a solar informational meeting. Scheduled speakers include Dr. Jeff Corney from The Wilderness Center who will be giving an environmental presentation, Hudson resident Bob Dyer will be talking about his residential solar array, and to close the meeting, a YellowLite solar consultant will give a presentation on solar installation and financing. The event is free and open to the public. Come join us to learn more about solar.
