Books A Go-Go Kickoff
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
A “BAGG” full of books is only one of the many benefits that school district families take home with them after a night at Books A Go-Go, a family-based summer reading program.
Each district elementary school is opening its doors every Tuesday evening from June 7 through June 28.
Families are welcomed into the schools with the aroma of a delicious dinner which has been prepared especially for them. Then families can visit the library to choose and borrow books, enjoy a read-aloud, play games and create crafts. Doors open for dinner at 6 p.m. and families may enjoy the activities and check out books from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
There is no charge for this program, and no advance registration is needed.
