PechaKucha with Heights Community Congress: Telling Your Story
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Be our guest at the launch of this popular presentation format! The theme for our first PechaKucha Night is "Telling Your Story." Our group of speakers--professionals in a variety of fields--will share their diverse stories with 20 slides x 20 seconds, a scant 6 minutes each! In between, there's time for questions, conversation, and connection.

PechaKucha is FREE and open to the public--and you'll enjoy complimentary refreshments. Let us know you're coming by RSVP at www.heightscongress.org

Why is HCC hosting a PechaKucha Night? The short answer? COMMUNITY. We think this format is a great way for community members to get to know each other, to discover common interests, to learn something new, to share perspectives, and to gain a deeper appreciation of our diversity.

Curious? Join us for our first PechaKucha on Oct.28. You'll help us explore this presentation form, learn some cool stuff from three local speakers...and maybe even learn how to pronounce it!

What Is PechaKucha?
Maybe you've heard of a "PechaKucha" or maybe this is the first time you've seen it. What is it? It's a kind of presentation where a speaker shows 20 slides, each one for 20 seconds, and talks along with them. It was created by two Tokyo architects in 2003 because they were tired of sitting through endless boring presentations! The format caught on and there are hundreds of PechaKucha Nights around the world every year.
