Crafts of the Past: Salt Dough Friends Part 2

During Part 2 of the program, you'll be painting your cooked salt dough object made in Part 1 of the class. For children entering grades K–5. You must have participated in Part 1 in order to attend Part 2. Part of the Centennial.

Active Yoga ~'~ Loving Hands Yoga
6:15 PM - 7:15 PM
Active Yoga – This is a moderate-intensity class, perfect for those with previous yoga experience. In this class we gradually increase our heart rate, flow aerobically through various poses, and work on developing strength, flexibility, balance, and stamina. We focus on the yoga principles of alignment, connecting our breath with our movement, and practicing present-moment awareness. The level of challenge is designed around the students’ desires and abilities.

Class Fees
*** New Clients (includes one free class): $135 for Summer
*** Returning Clients: $150 for Summer
*** All Clients: 10% discount for 2 classes per week

Art Study Group - The Artistry of Words

We'll explore the ways literacy, printing, reading habits, technology, and even the graphic power of words themselves have inspired artists to comment on social change, personal identities, and public life. Part of the library’s Centennial programming. Registration is required and opens on July 6.

Gentle Yoga ~'~ Loving Hands Yoga
7:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Gentle Yoga – This class provides all the benefits of yoga, but at a more relaxed pace. It is perfect for beginners, or experienced yogis who prefer a slower practice. We work on our strength, breathing, balance, and flexibility through gentle, fluid poses and stretching. Meditation exercises at the beginning and end of the class help to release stress and worry. We also discuss methods for bringing peace and relaxation into our daily lives. This class provides a peaceful and relaxing way to end the evening!
