Urban Oak School Presentation on Waldorf Education: "Educating the Body, Mind and Soul"

Presentation by Judith Erb, faculty and board president of the Waldorf Institute of Southeastern Michigan in Ann Arbor. Waldorf Education is an integrated, nature and arts-based approach to learning that's been around for nearly 100 years. Judith will be speaking on:
How does artistic expression enhance a child's ability to absorb academic subjects?
How does knitting support reading?
How do circle rhymes and violin develop math skills?
How do nature walks prepare for chemistry and physics?

Judith Erb is currently the President of the Board of Directors of the Waldorf Institute of Southeastern Michigan. She has lived a multifaceted life as a scientist, a high tech entrepreneur, a musician/composer and a Waldorf
teacher.
