Taste of Autumn Benefit for Coit Road Farmers' Market

Love eating local and eating well? Put your mouth where your money is! Join us for an evening of fine grazing with top local chefs, plus classic libations, good music, prizes and more. Help Cleveland’s oldest community market carry on its proud tradition and join the fun that is Coit Road Farmers’ Market. Tickets are just $35.
You’ll find live music by Bert Dennis & friends and a local harvest buffet from area farmers prepared by the region’s chefs. Featured chefs include Melissa Khoury and Penny Barend of Saucisson, Ryan Cipriani of Angela-Mia Pizza, Anna Harouvis of Anna in the Raw, John Bausone of Forest Hill Kitchen, Steve Sabo of Orange Truk, Personal Chef Lisa Pucci Delgado, Alfio Pinzone of Pranzo and Tino Enriquez, Vegan Chef at Large. The proceeds support operation of the market during the winter months.

HRRC Workshop: "Preparing Walls for Painting"

A general overview, with sample materials, tools, and pictures as available, of these topics:

• How to remove wallpaper – tools, products, techniques; the difference between removing from plaster vs. drywall
• Patching holes and cracks – tools, products, techniques. How plaster differs from drywall, and what holes are too big for most people to handle themselves
• Lead-safe practices; practical ways a homeowner can work with lead paint responsibly
• What to do about obstacles (light fixtures, furniture, appliances); what to remove, what to cover
• How to clean walls for painting – products and techniques
• Masking, taping, covering – necessary? If so, what products to use and to avoid
• What to caulk – products to use and to avoid
• Primer – what to prime, what to use

Cleveland Play House Script Club – The Crucible by Arthur Miller

Gentle Yoga *FREE* Loving Hands Yoga

Gentle Yoga – This class provides all the benefits of yoga, but at a more relaxed pace. It is perfect for beginners, or experienced yogis who prefer a slower practice. We work on our strength, breathing, balance, and flexibility through gentle, fluid poses and stretching. Meditation exercises at the beginning and end of the class help to release stress and worry. We also discuss methods for bringing peace and relaxation into our daily lives. This class provides a peaceful and relaxing way to end the evening!
